whats so "write off" about that?
car seems alrite. for a write off anywho..

The insurance company thinks its worth too little to repair it. It needs:
New wing, new bumper, new door & mirror. Also, painting cost

The price was 375 quid.
The car on the left is a Toy Corolla Wink (after a meeting with a light post)

This weekend is not turning out as good as i wanted.
Couldnt spend nearly as much time as i wanted on my project today Confused
All i got done was:

1. Change the screen wash pump on the resevoir
2. Find out that the wiper motor is fcked. Didnt work to change the relay Sad
So i have to move the motor from the RN to the RT tomorrow....

Hopefully more will get done tomorrow....

Well well well.
Finally things were done Rolling Eyes

Last weekend:
Changed the front right wing that was fcked
Changed the front grille panel
Changed the indicator on same side
Changed the wheel arch cover since the old one had broken on couple of places
Changed the wiper motor. Finally the delay on 1st step works Cool
Fastened the broken front bumper temporarily as much as i could Rolling Eyes
Will try to combine my two broken bumpers into one, hopefully Twisted Evil
Note, these things were donated by my 1.8 RN (thanks RN!)

Today:
Installed a new 55 Ah battery
So now my beast is alive again Twisted Evil
Damn i love the power in this car Razz

Whats left:
Rear fog light panel has many cracks in it, exchange it
Antenna is broken, exchange
Combine bumpers, with luck it might work
Drivers interior door handle is fcked, exchange
Find replacement speaker covers, old are broken Confused
Fix leak in trunk
Overall cleaning, inside and out, even tidy under the hood Smile
2nd coat of wax

Then someday i'll have a shiny beast Cool

Did an overall cleaning inside the RT on saturday.
I had not vacuumed it since i got it in December since i've only been working on the car. I was stomped upon a finding under the passenger seat. I found (amongst other garbage from previous owner) the spare key to it Laughing
I wonder if the owner had lost it a long time ago? hehe

Anyways, its shining now on the inside thanks to STP Son of a Gun and Mr Propre window cleaner Cool

Hopefully i can take photos of the cleaning job and project in total tomorrow Wink

Having it painted is not the cheapest service in iceland...sadly Rolling Eyes

You'll probably not get the results your looking for by doing a re-spray. Would be easier and would look better if you tried to find a replacement.

That's a bugger, I assume shipping is a nightmare as well!

I guess it's best to go with the most accessible option then
