lol yeh, well i decided the 16v should keep the standard-ish look, and have been offered another car which ive taken and its definitely going this time, so if anyone is interested it needs to go, ideally before xmas!

the fact it needed a new engine after 40k doesn't bode well tbh!

yes but the original engine died after 40k! which means abuse and neglect tbh!

keep the whole recon thing quiet unless someone seems eager abotu a low miler.

I paid £1350.

End of the day I have a very limited list of things I can do on a car. It's all well and good buying a car for £650 that needs working doing to it, so long as you can do the work to it.

I want a car wiht a lot of service history, decent milleage and near enough to standard as I can get which is why i bought this one.

Just because you could probably buy 5 R19 16v for that price Laughing

exactly.

Theres bargains to be had if you look around.

Look at the mrs megane, 200 quid for a 1.6 RXE megane over a year ago on a P plate, thats a bargain in anybodies eyes.

On the other hand a decent honest car for 2 grand is a bargain if it is as it appears.
