Picked up an 02 Laguna on the weekend. Its sporting a 1.9DCI engine with a 6 Speed box and silverstone alloys. Its done 120k , but the bodywork is pretty mint. Fleet car so mostly motroway miles.

Few jobs need doing so far. EGR system is in need of cleaning, oil change, sorting the xenon headlights and sorting some of the plastic panels in the engine bay, theres more, ill add as I think of them. Might treat it to a cambelt change too soon.

Pics to follow soon!

Yup, very. Driver side isn't working. I'm going to swap the bulbs, see if the problems follows the bulb. If not it could be the ballast, and they aint cheap either.

Really? I was told by a m8 who works in camden renault that it was a easy peasy if you'd done a 19 TD before. I shall investigate.... thanks for the input!

I have limited experience with em.

EGR's I know though, you need to clean the pipe out as well, fun job.

Is that the pipe from the EGR valve to the manifold? All I know about EGR is it recirculates gas. Anything else I need to know ? Razz

yep, it fills up with carbon, big problem, garages stick new valves on with dirty pipes and the egr fails again.

It has a lift sensor iin the egr valve as well so can cause the light to flag up
