 a pain in the arch

i got hold of this renault 19 td and its in need of a little TLC so iv started by doing the dent in the arch which is still not finished due to the crappy weather

Fair play, I went down to look at that car, thought it was a bit of shitter tbh, done a nice job there though. That using a spray gun?

would like to see the pics of it finished and even better if you could make a members project explaining how you did all this ,step by step
too many people on here wanting to be able to do this stuff as far as i am concerned

I hate bodywork, I don't have the patience.

I have to say I wopuld have masked off the arch better and removed the skirt and done it properly.

But you got it re-countoured nicely there.

cheers peeps im gonna get some paint soon then il put up some more pics, the primer thats on there is aerosol, as for the skirts im gonna be respraying them anyway there's nothing worse than a tatty scuffed side skirt anyway il dont mind bodywork iv been doing it for ages i think some of you will remember when i did my other 19 inside and out.

body work is fine if you don't have scottish weather to deal with.

mmm i agree but if you have use of a garage you would be fine, just get yr nan to let you use her's and to show your thanks spray her car aswell Laughing

her car is fine and her garage is about a foot wider than the car so its no use for anything really.
