looking good there dan ,how long did the preperation take ?

also ,on the headlights i see you are using masking tape ?
is it one layer or 2 ?

1 layer lets some of the paint through in my experience ,just to let you know Exclamation

2 layers of masking tape, the flatting down so far has taken a week, but i still havent finished, its been pising it down here lately so cant get oin with it, still need to do the front bumper and the rear bumper. then get it down into the workshop, go over it with a mutton cloth, put the hgeater on for 20-3 hours or so get it upto around 15degrees, and put it on coat bycoat!

Well i got it down into barn to spray, just finished masking it up and did a test layer of cellulose primer, which will be rubbed down and then i will do a wet-on-wet with 2 pack primer with black tinter, and the final coat at the same time.

heres pics of its current state:

wasn't nit picking, i really was just wondering...as its hardly any trouble to take them off to get a complete coat under the handle...rather than risk a line from the masking.

I'll need to do mine too JB, if you want to rent a unit or something we can split the costs and do em both at the same time... Smile
