dont know if youve been on them before but the first site's kind of usefull to know how much owners a cars had,and the second site's good to know basic information about a car as long as you have the number plate.

Just did a comparision of a few of these sites:

http://www.rac.co.uk/web/carbuying/vehicle_data_search/

Manufacturer TOYOTA
Model CARINA E GS
Body type 5 DOOR HATCHBACK

http://www.1stchoice.co.uk/REQUESTS/REQUEST_2.aspx?Cl=C

Year P345CPE (07/01/1997)
Make TOYOTA
Model CARINA E GS
Derivative 5 DOOR HATCHBACK 1762cc MANUAL (GREY)

http://www.vehiclelicence.gov.uk/

Date of Liability 01 10 2005
Date of First Registration 07 01 1997

As you can see the RAC and vehiclelicence websites give the most information. This is quite useful when buying a car.

Any way to see who the owner is? Am considering buying new tax online, but need to see if the V5 has gone through (otherwise it'll be sent to the old owner!).. Ta
